Scrambled Egg Pie

Scrambled Egg PieScrambled Egg Pie, aka Quiche, is such a healthy protein filled meal. Its versatile enough to be breakfast, lunch or dinner and is very easy to make. You can easily make this recipe your own by adding the things you like and taking out the things you don’t. So feel free to fiddle and find your favourite ingredients to add in.

  • 1 frozen pie crust
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked diced chicken (optional or add your favorite cooked meat)
  • 3/4 cup tex mex cheese
  • Any other ingredients you like i.e. bacon, green onions, feta cheese etc.
  1. Cook frozen pie crust as per package directions
  2. Meanwhile mix milk, eggs, chicken, cheese, other ingredients in a bowl
  3. Salt and pepper to taste
  4. Pour into cooked pie shell
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until egg is no longer liquid
  6. Cool, cut and serve.
NOTES: Try cutting this recipe in half (use 2 eggs) and pour in a hollowed out Italian loaf instead of in the crust. Bake for 25 minute at 350 degrees for a scrambled egg sandwich.
