Meet Julia

CoverGirl15-MarchAge: 17

Grade: 12

Favorite color: Coral

Favorite food: Mangoes

Something I am proud of: Creating an international blog and magazine to give opportunities to teens in the media industry

Who I look up to: Malala – she’s the embodiment of courage, strength, and resilience

Hobbies: Writing, singing, graphic design, spontaneous L.A. trips

My pet peeve: When people call me “Julie”

What makes me a Genuinely Unique Girl:I believe that I am unique because of my passion for writing, editing, and designing. At seventeen years old, I found what makes me happy and began to pursue it with all of my might. I’m still your average high school student – complete with a 4.1 grade point average, being president of the Female Empowerment Club and Link Crew, and co-captain of the Mock Trial competition team – but my life has been changed through the power of the written word.
