Lasagna Roll-ups

My husband makes the best lasagna and so when I saw this roll-up recipe I thought I could use his recipe ingredients and the technique I found in order to create a meal that is delicious and fun to make. The individual rolls make this easier to serve and reheat and take to school for lunch. This recipe was modified from my husbands recipe and a recipe found on

  • 1 package soft oven ready lasagna sheets
  • 700ml jar your favourite spaghetti sauce (divided)
  • 1/2 lb ground beef or chicken or turkey
  • thin slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pkg shredded Italian 3 cheese blend cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Spread a layer of spaghetti sauce into the bottom of a 9×14 baking pan, set aside.
  3. In a large pot, brown ground beef on med-high heat till cooked, stirring constantly.
  4. Drain oil from beef using a strainer, return beef to pot.
  5. Add approx. 1/2 the jar of spaghetti sauce to the beef and stir till bubbling.
  6. Remove from heat and set aside.
  7. Cut lasagna sheets in half lengthwise to form 3-4 inch wide strips.

  9. Top mozzarella with beef/sauce mixture.
  10. Roll up lasagna sheets and place in the baking pan, spacing evenly.
  11. Top all lasagna rolls with remaining spaghetti sauce.
  12. Sprinkle Italian cheese blend on top of rolls.
  13. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes or until filling is bubbling and cheese is melted.
