Yogurt Berry Granola Cups

  • granola cups0This recipe makes for a great dessert or breakfast and would work very well for a surprise Mother’s Day breakfast in bed because its healthy and yummy and easy to make. But probably the best reason of all is that it’s not messy so it’s easy to eat in bed! Celebrate Mom on May 8th with this healthy-eating friendly treat!(get dad’s help if needed) Mom will thank you. This recipe was inspired by Proper Tasty’s “Breakfast Granola Cups” post on Facebook.

    • 2 bananas
    • 5 tbsp honey or agave syrup
    • 1 2/3 cups of rolled or quick oats
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • pinch of salt
    • 1/2 cup non fat greek yogurt
    • 1 cup berries
    1. Mash bananas in a bowl
    2. Add honey or agave syrup and mix well.
    3. In another bowl combine oats, cinnamon, salt.
    4. Add in banana mixture and mix well.
    5. Spoon into muffin tin and press into cup shape.
    6. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
    7. Cool and remove cups from muffin tin.
    8. Fill each cup with a spoonful of yogurt and top with berries
    Store in airtight container in fridge
