Average GBC reader rating

And she’s more than a little startled when the body disappears into thin air. Soon Clary is introduced to the world of the Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of warriors dedicated to driving demons out of our world and back to their own. And Clary is introduced with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is almost killed by a grotesque monster. How could a mere human survive such an attack and kill a demon? GBC Review by Sofia S.

Hey GBC! This month’s book is City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. I started reading the series and I honestly couldn’t put them down! The book follows Clary Fray, a fifteen year old girl, who thought she was human. When her mother is kidnapped, she accidentally embarks on a journey to find her, while trying to find her place in a new world. The Mortal Instruments are an adventure series, and they are honestly my new favourite books. I would recommend these books for anyone over 10, I think the size of them might put off anyone younger.

Happy Reading!
